Tournament History
• The 2023 edition of the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate marks the 13th year of the tournament and has been held yearly (with the exception of 2020 due to COVID) since 2010
• Eight different programs (East Carolina, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Virginia Commonwealth, James Madison, Campbell, North Dakota State, Delaware) have won the team title, while Campbell (2015, '16, '17, '18) and North Dakota State (2019, '22) are the only teams who have won it multiple times
• East Carolina is the only school in this year's field who has previously won the team title and that was at the inaugural tournament in 2010
• Neither last year's team champion (North Dakota State), nor the individual medalist (Nate Adams, North Dakota State) are among this year's competitors, however last year's runner-up (SIU Edwardsville), third place (Drexel) and fourth place (Longwood) teams return, while individual runner-up Drue Nicholas from Drexel is also back
• This will be Navy's third-consecutive appearance in the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate ... Navy placed 14th in 2021 (882, +30) and 6th in 2022 (880, +28)
