ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy offshore sailing team had a crew compete Saturday through Tuesday in the 270-mile Bayview-Mackinac Race on Lake Huron.
 
Senior skipper Pat Fisher led his crew to eighth place aboard our J/105 Avenger in a 16-boat class, racing from Port Huron to Mackinac Island, Michigan.
 
Fisher's crew included senior XO Nate Bramwell, juniors Isabel Novolio and Elliott Brandicourt and sophomores Colin Caraher and Chloe Cowan.
 
Next up for Fisher's crew on the Great Lakes is the Chicago to Mackinac Race, which starts on July 22.
