ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After opening the 2023-24 season last weekend, the Navy women's golf team continues its fall slate on Saturday and Sunday at the Nittany Lion Invitational in University Park, Pa.
Being played at Penn State's par-72, 6,402-yard Blue Course, the Midshipmen will begin competition with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Saturday for the first and second rounds, while the final round is set for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday.

The Field
Along with the host Nittany Lions, the Mids will be joined this weekend in the 10-team field by 2023 Patriot League champion Richmond along with Akron, Boston College, Central Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, High Point, James Madison and Youngstown State.

Navy at the Nittany Lion Invitational
This weekend will mark the Mids' fourth trip to the Nittany Lion Invitational, previously attending the event in 2018, 2019 and 2022 … Navy set then-program records for lowest team round, lowest 54-hole team score and lowest 54-hole individual score at the 2018 Nittany Lion Invitational, as Morgan Frazier shot a 2-over par 218 to finish tied for seventh in the 90-golfer field while the Mids compiled a three-round total of 30-over par 894, shooting a team score of 5-over par 293 in the third round … The 2019 Nittany Lion Invitational saw the Mids take sixth place with a 48-over par 912, as Christine McDonnell led the team by tying for 11th in the 72-golfer field with a 4-over par 220 … Last season's event had
