The #22 Navy squash team (12-12) finished up the regular season over the weekend, dropping a 9-0 decision to #21 Chatham (4-7) and back-to-back 8-1 losses to #12 Western (5-4) and #15 Rochester (5-3) at Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Match Highlights
• Matthew Kang (Fr / Malvern, Pa.) and Tighe Mullarkey (Fr, So / Locust Valley, N.Y.) picked up Navy's wins over the weekend
• Kang picked up a 3-1 decision over Western's Amin Khan on Saturday evening ... Khan posted an 11-8 win in the opening game, however, Kang regrouped and took the match by winning the next three games - 11-9, 11-8, 13-11
• Mullarkey, meanwhile, dropped back-to-back extended matches to open the weekend before closing things out with a victory on Sunday ... Chatham's Abdelrahman Sadek defeated Mullarkey in 4 games (11-6, 4-11, 11-7, 11-7) on Friday and Western's Griffin Manley managed to outlast the Navy second-year player in 5 on Saturday (11-6, 8-11, 6-11, 11-8, 11-6) ... Mullarkey would not be denied in Sunday's match however, taking down Rochester's Vandrick Inman-Benavente in 4 games (13-11, 9-11, 11-6, 11-4)
• On the weekend, Navy showed it was competitive with all three higher-ranked teams, as the Mids lost 6 individual matches in 5 games - 2 vs. Chatham, 3 vs. Western and 1 vs. Rochester
• Meanwhile, 15 of the 17 matches went 4 or more games with Navy falling in 13 of the 15

What's Ahead
• Navy will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. to compete in the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championship next weekend
