ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Five players posted victories in both singles and doubles as the Navy men's tennis team recorded a pair of wins over Lafayette and Lehigh Saturday in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley.  The Mids (20-11, 2-1) defeated the Leopards (7-10, 0-3) by the score of 4-0 in Easton and won a 4-2 decision over the Mountain Hawks (7-9, 1-1) in Bethlehem.

Navy 4, Lafayette 0
Nathan Nguyen and Aaron Gu won a pair of matches against Lafayette while Aniketh Ayinala, J.J. Etterbeek and Herrick Legaspi each won two matches against Lehigh.

Gu and Jason Kim posted a 6-3 victory in their No. 2 doubles match against Jake Magnusson and William Wooley in the first match to finish.  After Lafayette won at No. 3 doubles, Nathan Nguyen teamed with older brother Nicholas Nguyen to give the Mids a 7-6 (7-5) win over Arman Ganchi and Nick McKenzie at No. 1 doubles in the final match of the three left on the courts.  
Gu also was the first to finish his singles match as he defeated Woolley, 6-0, 6-2, at the No. 5 flight to give Navy a 2-0 lead.  Nathan Nguyen followed with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Ganchi at No. 1 singles to make the score 3-0.  Tommy Kim ended play with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Derrin Lerner at the No. 4 flight.

Navy 4, Lehigh 2
At the other end of the valley, Legaspi and Steve Nguyen did not lose a game in defeating Luke Donovan and Sean Jaeger at No. 3 doubles.  The Mids took the 1-0 lead when Ayinala and Etterbeek defeated Wyeth Anzilotti and Jackson Morash, 6-4, at No. 2 doubles.

Etterbeek then won a 6-3, 6-3 decision over Ben Horn-Bourque at No. 5 singles to take the advantage to 2-0.  Lehigh tied the match with victories at first No. 3 and then No. 1 singles.

Ayinala posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles to give the Mids a 3-2 lead.  Legapsi ended play when he recorded a 7-6, 6-3 win over Marc Blekhman at the No. 2 flight.

Navy will play another split squad doubleheader Sunday with matches at home against Xavier and at No. 75 Monmouth. Both of those matches are slated to start at 10 a.m.
