INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA announced the schedule for next week's 2024 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championship on Wednesday and Navy is slated to participate in session one at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 19 at Ohio State. Seeded ninth in the field with a national qualifying average of 397.30, the Mids will be matched up against No. 1 Stanford, No. 4 Illinois, No. 5 Nebraska, No. 8 California and No. 12 Greenville. The berth into the NCAA Qualifying Meet as a team is the eighth straight for the Navy program.
The rotations for next Friday's action at the Covelli Center will go as follows for the Mids: rings, vault, parallel bars, high bar, floor exercise and pommel horse.
The second session (7 p.m.) consists of No. 2 Oklahoma, No. 3 Michigan, No. 6 Ohio State, No. 7 Penn State, No. 10 Air Force and No. 11 Springfield.
The top-three finishing teams from each Friday's two qualifying sessions, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and the top-three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams from each session, plus the top-three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-arounder will compete again on Saturday night in the championship finals starting at 6 p.m.
Ohio State and the NCAA will be providing live stats and video throughout the two-day event.
