ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's rugby team (3-2, 3-2 National Intercollegiate Rugby Association) looks to extend its winning streak to three games when it welcomes Quinnipiac (3-2, 2-2 NIRA) to the Prusmack Rugby Center on Saturday. The game is slated to begin at 11 a.m.

Notes for Fans Attending
There is no admission charge for rugby games at the Prusmack Rugby Center.
Spectator parking is available in the lots on the north side of the Brigade Sports Complex (64 Greenbury Point Road, Annapolis, MD 21402). Overflow parking is available in the open space on the west side of the facility.
Alcohol consumption is prohibited at the Prusmack Rugby Center and surrounding parking areas.
Last Time Out: at Princeton
Navy delivered a record-breaking performance on Sept. 27 when it overwhelmed Princeton on the road, 78-5. The 78 points marked the highest single-game total in Navy program history. The Midshipmen surged to a 52–0 lead before the Tigers managed their lone try in the 58th minute.
Navy Notes
- Meagan Alvarez leads the team this season with 29 points. She has recorded a team-best nine conversions, added two penalty kicks and scored her first try of the season two weeks ago against Princeton.
- Mia Young and Caroline Shegogue join Alvarez as the only Mids with at least 20 points this season with 26 and 20, respectively. Young has scored two tries and made eight conversions, while Shegogue leads the team with four tries.
- Catherine O'Hara led the team in scoring (12 points) during the record-breaking performance against the Tigers as she tallied two tries and a conversion.
- Navy enters the week tied with Army for fifth place in the NIRA standings with a 3-2 league record.
- The Mids have scored 191 points this season and average 38.2 points per game.
- Navy is averaging 5.8 tries per game and has made 69 percent of its conversions (20-for-29).
Scouting Quinnipiac
- Quinnipiac enters the weekend with a 3-2 overall record and stands seventh in the NIRA with a 2-2 mark. The Bobcats' conference wins have come against Brown (33-14) and LIU (65-33).
- Quinnipiac shut out La Salle in its most recent game last week, 53-0.
- Layla Cox leads the team with five tries this season, while Regan Jackson and Gabrielle Appiah follow with four tries each.
Navy vs. Quinnipiac
- Saturday's game will be the third meeting between the two teams since Navy became a varsity program. The Bobcats have come out on top in both prior meetings.
