Scouting the Competition
Navy faced off with all three opponents in dual-match action this past spring … For the second time in three years, Navy had a freshman earn the clinching point in a 4-2 victory over service academy rival Air Force, as rookie Emma Gu closed out the Feb. 15 contest … The doubles point and singles wins from Emily Tannenbaum, Parvathi Shanker, Molly Bellia and Manci Pal gave the Mids a 5-2 win over Georgetown on March 1 in Annapolis … Despite Tannenbaum's singles win, Navy suffered a 4-1 loss to Army in the April 4 Star Match, ending the Mids' run of three-straight Star victories.

Scouting Navy
Olivia Fermo paces the Mids with an 8-1 singles record for the fall, followed closely by freshman Nicole Fu's 7-1 singles mark … Sophomores Peyton Amspacher-Philemon and Ji Soo Oh have a perfect 4-0 doubles record as a pairing, while fellow sophomore Grace Li is 3-0 on the doubles court this fall … Fermo leads the team with six doubles wins as well at a 6-2 mark.

Commander-In-Chief's Challenge History
The inaugural event in 2023, then known at the Academy Challenge, saw Stella Ribaudo, Emily Tannenbaum and Olivia Fermo all posted 2-0 singles records on the weekend, while Fermo partnered with Makaila Cheng to tally a 3-0 doubles mark … The 2024 edition featured Anna Jordaan and Grace Li each going a combined 2-0 between doubles and singles play, while the Mids picked up four singles wins overall and a pair of doubles victories.
