ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's tennis team is set to see a trio of familiar teams this weekend in Arlington, Va., as the Midshipmen are taking part in the Commander-In-Chief's Challenge on Friday through Sunday at the Army Navy Country Club.
Facing individual competition from fellow service academies Army and Air Force as well as regional foe Georgetown, Navy will compete in singles and doubles play against the Falcons at 2:30 p.m. Friday before taking on the Black Knights at 8:00 a.m. Saturday and then squaring off with the Hoyas at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The inaugural event in 2023, then known at the Academy Challenge, saw Stella Ribaudo,
Emily Tannenbaum and
Olivia Fermo all posted 2-0 singles records on the weekend, while Fermo partnered with
Makaila Cheng to tally a 3-0 doubles mark … The 2024 edition featured
Anna Jordaan and
Grace Li each going a combined 2-0 between doubles and singles play, while the Mids picked up four singles wins overall and a pair of doubles victories.
