This Week
•    Navy returns home for its only set of matches in Annapolis in a span of four weeks when the Mids play host to Colgate on Friday and Bucknell on Saturday.
•    ESPN+ will stream both matches, each of which will start at 6 p.m.  Live statistics from the matches can be found at NavySports.com.

Attending the Matches
•    Only those vehicles driven by someone with a Department of Defense (DoD)-approved identification card will be allowed onto the USNA.
•    Fans without DoD approved vehicle access to the USNA must park outside of The Yard.  The simplest way to do this is to take the free shuttle bus.  
•    The shuttle bus on Friday and Saturday starts at 5 p.m. and will depart from and return to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, Md., 21401).  Enter the blue / west parking lot through gate 5 off of Taylor Avenue.  There is a $10 per vehicle parking fee.  The free fan shuttle bus will leave from and return to the Blue Angel jet.  
•    Whether a visitor rides the shuttle bus or walks through one of the USNA gates, everyone ages 18 and over must have a valid picture ID (i.e.: State issued driver's license, student I.D., or a government issued passport). Visitors ages 17 and younger who do not have a valid picture ID must be accompanied by an adult. Foreign passports are not permitted for general access.

Last Week
•    Navy split a pair of matches last weekend in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley.
•    The Mids first lost in four sets (26-24, 20-25, 25-21, 25-17) to Lehigh on Friday night.
•    Navy bounced back and recorded a three-set victory (25-22, 25-20, 25-18) at Lafayette on Saturday.

Navy vs. Colgate
•    Colgate finished the 2024 regular season with a Patriot League-best 14-2 record and went on to win the program's fourth league tournament title in a row.  The Raiders ended the season with an overall record of 19-11.
•    Colgate placed first in the 2025 Patriot League Preseason Poll.
•    Colgate has posted an 11-5 overall record this season.  This includes a 6-0 record in Patriot League play.  Colgate has won its last nine matches and has lost just six sets during this span.
•    The Raiders have posted a 7-3 record in sets decided by two points –– 4-1 in "overtime" sets –– and an 18-10 record in sets decided by no more than five points.
•    Colgate posted a pair of victories over Navy last season, winning in three sets in both Hamilton (25-20, 25-19, 25-15) and Annapolis (25-17, 25-11, 25-20). 
•    The current Mids have totaled 62 career kills against Colgate, with Farrah Eike's 22 leading the team.  
•    Colgate players have amassed 153 career kills against the Mids.  This includes Milan Bayless with 49 and Carlie Rzeszotarski with 47.

Navy vs. Bucknell
•    Bucknell posted an overall record of 21-5 last year and placed second in the Patriot League with an 13-3 record.  
•    The second-seeded Bison lost in the semifinal round of the Patriot League Tournament.
•    The Bison finished in third place in the 2025 Patriot League Preseason Poll.
•    Bucknell enters a Friday match at Army with a 7-8 record this season. This includes a 4-2 record in league matches.
•    Bucknell has tallied a 6-4 record in sets decided by two points –– 3-0 in "overtime" sets –– and a 15-15 record in sets decided by no more than five points.
•    Bucknell won both 2024 matches against Navy, winning in three sets in Annapolis (25-15, 25-9, 25-18) and in Lewisburg (27-25, 25-20, 25-19).
•    These teams will meet seven days later in Lewisburg.
•    Current Navy players have totaled 66 career kills against the Bison.  Anuhea Hauanio-Lore leads Navy with 17 kills and Farrah Eike ranks second with 14.

•    Navy has compiled a much better match record when it wins the first set than it does when losing the first frame.
•    Since 2021, the Mids have posted a 51-7 record when it wins the first set and a 9-54 record when it loses the set.

Defense Wins
•    The team winning the digs statistics has had great success in Navy's matches over the last five seasons.
•    Since 2021, Navy has compiled a 43-14 record when it finishes a match with more digs, and a 14-43 record when it tallies fewer digs.

Five-Set Matches
•    Navy played 20 five-set matches during the 2022 (8), 2023 (7) and 2024 (5) seasons.  This includes 16 such matches against Patriot League foes during the regular season.

•    The Wesley A. Brown Field House has served as the primary home for the Navy volleyball team since the start of the 2008 season.
•    The Mids have compiled a 94-85 record in the facility, which includes a 45-30 record under head coach Paco Labrador.  
•    Additionally, Navy has registered a 74-49 record in Patriot League regular season matches played in the facility.  The Mids have posted a 35-16 league regular season record under Labrador in the building.
•    The late Lt. Cmdr. Wesley A. Brown ('49) was the first African-American graduate of the USNA.

Double-Doubles
•    Arleigh Hanson registered 10 assist / dig double-doubles during the 2024 season.  That tied her for sixth place for the most by a Mid during a rally scoring season.
•    She then posted double-doubles in each of the three matches at the 2025 season-opening Utah Valley Invite and added another one against Gardner-Webb.
•    Her 14 career assist / dig double-doubles ranks eighth in school history.
•    Fellow setters Isa Boyd and Lainey Feighery also have combined for six double-doubles this season and nine in their careers.

Toppin Moving Up Blocks List
•    Ava Toppin is averaging nearly one block per set this season.  That average has allowed her to improve her standing on Navy's career blocks-per-set chart.
•    She ranks seventh at Navy (since 1995) with a career 0.85 digs-per-set average and is sixth during the rally scoring era.
