BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – The Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) announced its weekly awards and Navy freshman Aiden Berry was selected as the league's Rookie of the Week.
 
Berry helped lead Navy to a 14-11 road win over George Washington in the regular-season finale.
 
The freshman led the team with four total points on a team-high three goals with an assist. The hat trick was the third of the rookie's career and the first against a Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference opponent. The four points tied a season and career high for Berry.
 
Up next, the Midshipmen will travel to the Bronx, N.Y. for the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Championship Tournament, on Friday through Sunday, November 21-23. The Mids, who earned the No. 2 seed, begin play in the tournament against seventh-seeded Mercyhurst on Friday, Nov. 21 at 4:30 p.m.
