BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Navy's
Ava Toppin and
Farrah Eike garnered All-Patriot League accolades as part of the 2025 postseason volleyball awards announced this week by the league office. Toppin was named first-team all-league and Eike received second-team honors.
This is Toppin's first all-league recognition and Eike's second after she also received a second-team laurel last season.
Toppin ranks among the Patriot League and NCAA leaders in hitting percentage and blocking average. Her hitting mark of .370 stands fourth in the league and 58th nationally while her 1.18 blocks-per-set average ranks third in the league and 87th in the country.
The middle blocker also leads Navy with 235 kills and 191 blocks. She produced double figure kills in 10 of the team's 14 league matches and in 14 matches on the year. Toppin finished with four or more blocks in 16 matches and had a pair of kill-block double-doubles. This included a 20-kill, 10-block four-set match against Loyola in which she hit .581.
Eike ranks seventh in the league with an average of 3.09 kills per set. Despite playing in only 68 of Navy's 101 sets this season due to her recovering from an injury at the start of the year, she ranks second on the team with 210 kills and paced the Mids with 195 kills during the league campaign.
She tallied 10 or more kills in 11 league matches, which included a 26-kill, 16-dig five set match against Lafayette.
Navy is the No. 5 seed in the Patriot League Tournament and will play its first-round match at fourth-seeded Bucknell Tuesday night.
