ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy baseball team is set to play its 131st season in program history this spring, as head coach
Chuck Ristano announced the 2026 schedule on Wednesday.
Â
Highlighted by 27 contests at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium, the Midshipmen will face 20 different opponents over the course of the 49-game season, including a trip to two-time national champion South Carolina and hosting in-state foe Maryland in Annapolis.
Â
Starting the season Feb. 13-15 with a three-game series at Queens in Charlotte, N.C., the Mids return to Annapolis for their home opener against Delaware State on Feb. 17.
Â
The second weekend of the campaign, Feb. 20-22, will feature a trip to perennial SEC power South Carolina for a multi-team event that includes all three service academies. Part of a loaded Military Appreciation Weekend slate, Navy takes on service academy rival Air Force Friday before facing weekend host South Carolina on Saturday and closing the weekend with Marshall.
Â
A Feb. 24 midweek trip to nearby Coppin State precedes an eight-game homestand for the Mids, as Navy will host St. Bonaventure for three games (Feb. 27-March 1) and Coppin State for one game (March 3) before welcoming Dartmouth for a four-game set over three days (March 6-8).
Â
After a spring-break trip to Norfolk State (March 10), the Mids open Patriot League play with three games at Lehigh (March 13-15). Another homestand follows, as Navy hosts Maine (march 18) to precede a three-game visit by league foe Bucknell (March 21-22) before Saint Joseph's arrives in Annapolis for a March 24 midweek meeting.
Â
Set for March 27-29, the 2025 Star Series will see the Mids travel to West Point, N.Y. for a three-game battle with Army.
Â
Another eight-game homestand comes after that, hosting league foe Lehigh for three games (April 4-5), facing in-state rival Maryland on April 8 and then squaring off with Lafayette four times (April 10-12).
Â
Hitting the road again, Navy plays at George Washington on April 14 and then heads north for a four-game series at Holy Cross (April 17-19), while the following week sees a return home April 22 to face Maryland Eastern Shore before traveling again to Bucknell for a three-game set (April 25-26).
Â
The Mids conclude the regular season with four home games, hosting Manhattan on April 29 and then squaring off with the rival Black Knights once again for three games (May 2-3).
Â
The 2025 Patriot League Tournament semifinal round is set to begin on May 9, while the league's championship series is slated to start on May 16.
