ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis team will play host to three opponents this week in the Tose Family Tennis Center. The Mids (11-7) will face Morgan State (0-6) Wednesday at 2 p.m., Monmouth (9-1) Friday at 9:30 a.m. and Drexel (5-2) Friday at 1 p.m.

Navy Review
The Mids split two matches last week. Navy posted a 6-1 victory over Colgate in the team's Patriot League opener and lost a 6-1 decision to Delaware.
Nathan Nguyen,
Aniketh Ayinala and
J.J. Etterbeek each won their singles and doubles matches against the Raiders. Nguyen teamed with
Herrick Legaspi for a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles, then won a 7-5, 7-5 decision at No. 2 singles. Ayinala and Etterbeek first combined for a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles. Ayinala would win, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 5 singles and Etterbeek recorded a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles.
Morgan State Preview
The Bears have suffered losses this season to Delaware (6-1), St. John's (5-0), Long Island (4-2), Fairleigh Dickinson (7-0), Bucknell (4-0) and Temple (6-1). Comparatively, Navy also lost to Delaware and defeated both LIU (6-1) and Fairleigh Dickinson (6-1).
Morgan State ended last season with an overall record of 7-13. The Bears lost in the quarterfinal round of the MEAC Tournament.
Navy posted a 6-1 victory over Morgan State last season to improve its record to 12-0 in the series between the teams.
Monmouth Preview
Monmouth's lone loss of the year was a 7-0 setback against No. 28 Penn. The Hawks have posted wins over, among other teams, Saint Joseph's (6-1) –– a team Navy defeated (6-1) –– and Lehigh (6-1).
Monmouth totaled a 15-6 record last season. The fourth-seeded Hawks lost to No. 5 William & Mary in the quarterfinal round of the Coastal Athletic Association Tournament.
Navy dropped a 4-0 decision to Monmouth last season. The Mids lead the brief series by the count of 3-2.
Drexel Preview
Included among the Drexel's wins have been victories over Villanova (7-0) –– Navy registered a 6-1 win over the Wildcats –– Saint Joseph's (4-3), Bucknell (5-2) and Lehigh (7-0), with one of the losses being a 6-1 defeat to Penn State.
The Dragons finished last year with a 13-9 overall record. The seventh-seeded team in last year's CAA Tournament lost in the quarterfinal round to No. 2 Delaware.
The Mids fell to Drexel, 5-2, last season. Navy holds a 9-3 lead in the series between the teams.
