ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Isabella Baldwin of the Navy rifle team notched a first-place finish at the 2025 USA Shooting Junior Olympics in the women's air rifle last week. The top two finishers in each event will represent the United States in the Junior Pan-American Games in Paraguay in August.

Ryan Wee qualified for the final in the smallbore event under very difficult weather conditions and finished fifth overall, which is a great accomplishment. An all-around great performance from all our athletes"
Baldwin finished second among the 210 competitors in the women's air rifle event to advance to the finals. The sophomore posted scores of 626.8 and 628.7 for a 1255.5 total in the event to advance. In the finals, Baldwin shot a 251.2 to win the women's event by 1.2 points.
Additionally, Baldwin participated in smallbore. Once again, she finished in the top eight among the 124 shooters in the event to advance to the finals. The Nashville native used scores of 573 and 570 for an 1143 to move on to the finals. In the finals, she notched a score of 405.1 to claim fifth.
Dely competed with Baldwin in the women's air rifle competition. The junior finished with a two-round score of 1237.7 to finishing in the top 25-percent of the shooters with a 39th-place finish.
Wee took part in both the men's smallbore and air rifle events. The sophomore carded a two-round score of 1222.0 in air rifle to finish 25th. In smallbore, Wee advanced to the finals with a score of 1139, ultimately finishing in fifth place with a 406.7 tally in the finals.
Baldwin was atop the leaderboard for the Midshipmen throughout the season, concluding the year atop all three scoring categories. The sophomore led the team with a 587.4 average in smallbore and a 596.2 in air rifle for a team-best average of 1183.6 in aggregate. Wee posted averages of 581.4 (smallbore), 586.8 (air rifle), and 1168.0 (aggregate) during the season, while Dely notched totals of 573.4 (smallbore), 586.2 (air rifle), and 1159.0 (aggregate) on the year.
Earlier in the year, Baldwin was selected as a Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) All-American. She was a first-team honoree in air rifle, while being named second team in smallbore, and third team in aggregate. Additionally, Baldwin earned All-Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) accolades, being tabbed Second Team All-GARC in smallbore, air rifle, and combined.
