ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Navy head football coach Brian Newberry announced today the position captains for the 2025 season.  The position captains will be part of the leadership council and two position captains will join team captains senior quarterback Blake Horvath and senor nose guard Landon Robinson as game captains each week.

The Navy football team reports to camp on Tuesday, July 29 with the first day of practice the following morning.  Navy Football Fan Fest and Media Day presented by Luminus Health and Lexus will take place on Saturday, August 2 at 10 AM at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, while the Blue & Gold BBQ is the following Saturday at 10 AM at the stadium.

The Mids kick off the 2025 season on Saturday, August 30 against VMI at 12 noon and will also play host to AAC rivals UAB (9/6), Rice (9/27), FAU (10/25) and USF (11/15).  Navy plays host to Air Force in the first leg of the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy on Saturday, Oct. 4, while the Army-Navy Game presented by USAA is Saturday, Dec. 13 in Baltimore.
