ANNAPOLIS, Md. — No. 22 Navy's 35-13 victory over Cincinnati in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl drew 3.4 million viewers, peaking at more than 4 million, ESPN announced Wednesday.
It was the highest-rated bowl game of the day, the highest-rated American Conference bowl game this season and the fifth-highest-rated bowl game on the ESPN platforms. This marks the second-straight year that Navy has the highest rated non-CFP bowl game in the American. Last year's win over Oklahoma drew an American best 2.8 million.
Total viewership for American Conference bowl games, including Tulane's College Football Playoff game against Ole Miss, totaled nearly 23 million viewers — almost a 100% increase from last season's conference bowl viewership of 12.2 million.
Including the Army-Navy Game presented by USAA, more than 11 million viewers watched Navy's final two victories of a record-setting season.
Navy had three games that drew more than 3 million viewers and four games that surpassed 1 million viewers, making it the most-watched team among the non-autonomy conferences.
The Midshipmen finished the 2025 season with a school-record-tying 11-2 record, won the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy for the second consecutive year and defeated Cincinnati in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
Navy's 21 wins over the past two seasons are the most in program history. The Midshipmen's 21-5 record (.808) over that span ranks ninth nationally in the Football Bowl Subdivision and is the best among non-autonomy programs.
