"After our game on Wednesday at Delaware, we knew we wanted to come out fast today," head coach
Cindy Timchal said after the game. "I thought
Maura Murphy rebounded from an off day earlier this week to command the draw circle. That helped us generate some early offense and take control of the game. AC and Taylor played extremely well today. I thought our defense did a good job of causing turnovers and disrupting their offense. It was a really good day for Navy women's lacrosse. I am proud of the team's effort today and we will now turn our attention to a very talented, nationally-ranked Florida team."
