ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Resuming its spring season Monday and Tuesday after a three-week hiatus, the Navy women's golf team is set to have two squads of Midshipmen entered in the Magnolia Collegiate, hosted by the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala.
Played on the par-72, 6,204-yard Crossing Course at Magnolia Grove, the tournament will have two rounds on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday, as both days are set for a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT (9:30 a.m. ET).

The Course
Located just outside Mobile as part of the 54-hole Magnolia Grove golf facility, the Crossings course has hosted both the LPGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

Joining the host Jaguars and the Mids at the tournament will be Central Arkansas, James Madison, Lipscomb, Missouri State, New Haven, North Alabama, Seminole State, Southern Miss, Stetson, UT Arlington and West Georgia.

Led by a top-5 performance from junior
Emma Tang, Navy used a good finish to grab a share of fourth place in February at the El Campeon Collegiate in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. … The 54-hole tournament saw the Mids shoot a 42-over par 330 in the opening round to sit fourth early before posting a 37-over par 325 in the second round, while Navy then tallied a 39-over par 327 in the final round to pull into a tournament score of 118-over par 982, putting the Mids tied with Patriot League rival Lehigh for fourth place in the 11-team field … Tang paced the Mids with her fifth-place finish at 21-over par 237, notching her best round of the week with a 75 on Monday before closing the event with rounds of 80 and 82 … Fellow junior
Keira Howard just missed out on a top-10 placement herself, shooting a 27-over par 243 and tying for 12th on the leaderboard, as she rebounded from an opening-round 87 to end the event with rounds of 76 and 80.
