ANNAPOLIS, Md.--The WBAL Radio / Navy Athletics "Navy Insider Podcast" has been named one of the two finalists in the 2025 Chesapeake AP Broadcasters Association Contest for Best Podcast-Audio Division that includes TV and radio broadcast stations on-line podcasts across Maryland, DC and Delaware.  

Produced and hosted weekly by Scott Wykoff, WBAL Radio's award-winning reporter and studio host for the Navy Football Radio Network, the Navy Insider Podcast drops weekly from September through December during the Navy Football season.

The Navy Insider Podcast not only includes Wykoff's interviews and features with Navy Football players, coaches and staff, but each week it also highlights athletes, coaches and staff from Navy's other 36 varsity sports.

An entry from WYPR Radio in Baltimore is the other Best Podcast finalist.

The winner will be announced at the Chesapeake AP Broadcasters Association Awards Banquet on Saturday, May 30, at Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort in Ocean City, Md.
