Aniketh Ayinala and
Tommy Kim were two of the men's tennis players named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team for the sport that was recently announced by the league office.
Nominees for the team needed to be at least a sophomore academically, have compiled a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 and be a key member of the team.
This is the second year in a row in which Ayinala is on the team and the first time Kim has earned the accolade.

On the court, the senior compiled a 14-6 record in singles and an 11-11 record in doubles during the dual match season. Those figures included a 3-3 mark in both singles and doubles when playing Patriot League opponents.
A computer science major, Kim had accrued a 3.99 GPA through the fall term. Like Ayinala, the junior was named academic all-district last year and is a two-time national scholar-athlete.
Kim ended the spring campaign with a 12-6 record in singles and a 13-11 record in doubles. He tallied records of 4-0 in singles and 3-3 in doubles when facing league foes.
Ayinala played No. 2 singles, Kim at the No. 4 flight and the two players formed the No. 2 doubles team during the Patriot League Tournament that won by the Mids.
