What other schools offered you and what was it about Navy that made you come here? I had some Ivy League schools and the other service academies. I chose Navy because of the once in a lifetime opportunity to learn how to be a great leader, play great football and serve my country at one of the best schools in the country

What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football? Take that chance, it's hard but so worth it in the end. The Brotherhood and community here can't be found anywhere else 

If you could play another position, what position would you play and why?  I would want to be a tight end, still on the line and hitting but I'll get to go out for a route every now and then 

If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule, who would you choose and why?  FAMU (Florida A&M). I grew up watching them and even had some family who went there so it would be a fun game day experience for me.

Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why?   My favorite class so far has been U.S. Government. I loved the discussions we had and being able to learn about our history as a country

Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy?  LCDR Lemar, she was my English teacher and I always looked forward to her class.

Favorite form of social media and why? Instagram, I probably spend too much time scrolling on reels in my free time.

Favorite person to follow on social media and why?   LeBron James. Just an inspirational guy and my favorite NBA player. He's the GOAT.

If you could have dinner with any 4 people that are currently at the Naval Academy who would you choose and why? Malcolm Johnson, Christian Cromer, Booran Dhaba and Jaden Mangini. Those have been my guys since NAPS.

Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why?  Basketball, I used to have hoop dreams until I had to put on all the football weight.

What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field?  4 Sons of a King by NBA Youngboy

What is your dream vacation? I would want want to go to Ibiza and check it out for a weekend

Who will be the surprise player on offense in 2026?  Be on the lookout for Bobby Collins (Jordan Collins). He's going to be a dawg.

Who will be the surprise player on defense in 2026?  Christian Johnson, his stock is about to rise just watch 

Who is the toughest player on the Navy football team?   Marcus Bleazard, that guy is a beast in the weight room and on the field

What player epitomizes Navy Football? Jai Hundley. He is an unselfish and faith driven man. His brotherhood is felt by the entire team and he brings us all up.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on offense in 2026?  Braxton Woodson

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on defense in 2026?  Griffen Willis

What are you most looking forward to in 2026? Contributing to the team and Beating Army for the third year in a row.

Tell us one thing about you that most people don't know?  I love art and I like to draw occasionally. 

If there was a movie about your life what would it be called and who would play you?  It would be called Journey of the Overthinking Hooper and I would want Robert De Niro to play me.

If you could play another sport at the Naval Academy, what would it be? Basketball

Who is your favorite Navy athlete to watch outside of football? David Nam on the club soccer team. That guy can boot the ball.

What does it mean to wear "Navy" across your chest? It means everything. Being able to represent such a prestigious institution with a rich history and culture means the world to me.

What leadership lesson has football taught you? How to be accountable for not just others but yourself. When times get hard being able to keep doing the right thing when nobody's looking

Which upperclassman impacted you the most when you arrived? Giuseppe Sessi. He was in my company and helped me out a ton.

What's one quality every successful midshipman needs? Resiliency. Failing here is inevitable but being able to bounce back is crucial if you want to grow and and be successful 

Which teammate would make the best Commandant? Alonzo Manning II would be the best option

Which teammate would make the best Superintendent? Mason Frey, that guy is a natural 

Who talks the most trash in practice? Nolan Mccamy, he's always in the middle of a scrap

Which player would make the best coach someday? Rhoen Breen. He has a lot to give back to the game

Who has the best game-day energy? Nobody gets hype like the JV squad. Most hype you'll find on a college football game day

Favorite road stadium you've played in? M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore

Favorite uniform combination? All White

Which current NFL player do you model your game after? I love watching Micah Parsons 

What's one thing fans should watch for from your position group this year? Our pash rush this year is going to be good.

What's your favorite part of game day? Singing Blue & Gold after a win.

Who's the funniest teammate? Mackenzie Ardoin
