What other schools offered you and what was it about Navy that made you come here? Dartmouth, Cornell, Penn, Army, Air Force and Georgetown. I came to Navy because of the obvious difference in culture and camaraderie that is built between the team, especially without the interference of the transfer portal because it allows a true four years of building chemistry to occur. On the flip side this place sets you up for the future where you don't have to worry about your career after graduation and service.
What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football? I would tell them that this place fosters building strong team chemistry and camaraderie to the point that it's unmatched compared to other schools where you also have the opportunity to develop and grow both as a player and a person without the worry of guys transferring in and out.
If you could play another position, what position would you play and why? I would play defensive back because that is the position I was playing before moving to wide receiver. I liked playing safety because it's all reactionary where you can just fly around get interceptions.
If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule, who would you choose and why? Oregon, because I have a couple friends there and the TV ratings would probably be through the roof giving Navy more exposure.
Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why? So far, my favorite class has been my second semester English class with LCDR Huskey because he truly made the class enjoyable where we had fun in class while learning. He just brought a different environment to the class every day.
Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy? Between LCDR Huskey and Capt. Burke
Favorite form of social media and why? Instagram, because of the reels where you can find completely goofy videos and on occasion educational ones which I find cool.
Favorite person to follow on social media and why? Neil deGrasse Tyson, because he's an astrophysicist and I find that very interesting because he always brings up deep questions I like to think and talk about. That line of work would be something I wouldn't mind doing.
If you could have dinner with any 4 people that are currently at the Naval Academy who would you choose and why? I'd probably get dinner with LCDR Huskey, my brother (
Amahd Clark), CDR Cummins and Coach Ant (strength coach
Anthony Cimino) because they all have a sense of humor and I feel like we'd be laughing so much that not much food would actually be eaten. Especially with the two officers and my brother, all three of them have dark humor and Coach Ant I feel like can always make someone laugh.
Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why? Basketball, because I used to play it and loved it. It's always fun watching basketball.
What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field? Riot & Set it Off by Yeat
