SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Eight members of the Navy men's rugby team earned D1A All-America honors from the College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced Tuesday.
The Midshipmen had the second-most honorees in the nation, trailing only behind national champion California (nine). The Mids and Golden Bears tied for the most first-team All-Americans with six apiece.
The All-America designation celebrates excellence in athletic performance, leadership and sportsmanship throughout the D1A collegiate rugby season. These athletes demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to earn their place among the nation's elite.
The six Midshipmen who garnered CRAA first-team All-America honors are wing
Andrew Baublitz, prop
Ian Bullock, fly half
Avion Ganse, fullback
Roanin Krieger, eight-man
Edmund Soeder and lock
Austin Taylor.
Hooker
Aidan Bryan and fly half
Michael Strehle represented the Mids on the second team.
Krieger capped his career with his third CRAA All-America nod after leading the team with 182 points. He established himself as one of the premier kickers in the country, connecting on 63 conversions and 12 penalty kicks.
Baublitz, Bullock, Ganse, Soeder and Strehle each earned their second All-America recognition, while Bryan and Taylor garnered the honor for the first time.
