Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to Feature Enhanced Amenities for 2026 Football Season

9/1/2026 3:11:00 PM

ANNAPOLIS, Md.— Fans attending Navy football games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium this fall will enjoy several new and enhanced amenities designed to improve stadium entry, concessions, parking, hospitality and the overall game-day experience.

Beginning this season, mobile tickets will be NFC-enabled, allowing fans to enter the stadium by holding their smartphones near the ticket scanner instead of displaying a QR code. Instructional videos explaining the new touch-to-enter process will be sent directly to ticket holders throughout the season.

Plans are also underway to introduce facial-recognition entry for suite holders and other VIP customers. Additional information regarding enrollment, availability and designated entry locations will be announced when finalized.

Fans will also be treated to several new menu items in 2026, including walking tacos, cream of crab soup, a macaroni and cheese bowl and a souvenir mug that can be filled with hot cocoa or coffee. The popular ultimate popcorn buckets will also return.

Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Annapolis will join the stadium's concessions lineup, while Pepsi, Ledo Pizza, Annapolis Ice Cream Company/Always Ice Cream, Chick-fil-A, Picante, Jet Services, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Fisher's Popcorn will return.

The stadium will also feature two Grab and Go stands—one on the Blue side and one on the Gold side—with Mashgin checkout technology designed to provide fans with faster and more convenient service.

Additional fan-experience enhancements will include public tents in the north end zone that fans may use before the game, along with Boeing Blue Angel and Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier II photo opportunities in the southwest corner of the stadium.

The Naval Academy Athletic Association has also replaced or added nearly 100 televisions over the last two years, including on the Blue and Gold concourses and near concession stands.

Navy Mutual will sponsor the Countdown to Kickoff, which will include game-day video board features, social media content and radio mentions.

Sponsor activations will include a new Lexus vehicle wrap featuring the logo commemorating the 100th anniversary of Navy's 1926 national championship team. The Chick-fil-A Kids Zone and Navy Fest, presented by Johns Hopkins US Family Health Plan, will return, while stadium charging stations will return courtesy of Shield AI.

Parking access will also be improved. Fans parking in the Gold Lot will be able to enter through Gates 1 and 7, providing safer and easier access to the lot.

The stadium enhancements are highlighted by a $7.5 million renovation project in the south end zone that will transform and expand the stadium's premium hospitality offerings. The project, made possible through the leadership support of several Naval Academy alumni, includes the addition of the Naval Academy Athletic Foundation Pavilion, The Gladchuk Club and The Class of 1981 Club, along with enhanced offerings in the Minter Pavilion and The Anchor Club.
