ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Get your first look at the 2026-27 Navy women's basketball team as the Mids welcome fans to an open practice on Wednesday, October 7, inside Alumni Hall.

The evening begins with spectators getting to enter the arena and catch the final hour of the Mids' practice from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Once Coach Tim Taylor and his staff have completed working with the squad, all fans in attendance will be welcomed down to the court to interact with members of the program) until approximately 8:00 p.m.

Whether you're a longtime Midshipmen supporter or looking to experience Navy Basketball for the first time, this open practice is a great opportunity to connect with the program and get an early preview of the teams before the season tips off in November.

The Navy women's basketball team is coming off a record-setting 2025-26 campaign that saw the Mids go 16-2 in Patriot League play on their way to the outright regular season conference title for the first time since 2014. After finishing the season with a record of 22-9 and a berth into the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament, Navy has its eyes squarely set on capturing the Patriot League Championship for the first time since 2013.
