Academic Honors -- Was tabbed as the 2011 and `12 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for her sport ... received Second-Team All-District Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA in 2011 and first-team laurels in `12 ... garnered 2010 and `11 Honorable Mention Scholar-All-America honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America and first-team accolades in `12 ... has been named to Navy's Superintendent's List four times, to the Dean's List twice and to the Commandant's List six times.

Athletic Honors -- Selected as the 2010 Patriot League Rookie of the Year and as the `12 league swimmer of the year ... has earned first-team all-league accolades in each of her three seasons ... tabbed as a 2010 and `11 Honorable Mention Mid-Major All-American by CollegeSwimming.com and to the first team in `12.

2012 Summer -- Placed 37th in the 200 breaststroke and 92nd in the 100 breast at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

2011-12 -- Became the first female swimmer in Navy and Patriot League history to compete in a trio of events at the NCAA Division I Championship ... finished in 33rd place in the 200 breast, 37th in the 100 breast and 45th in the 200 IM at the national championship ... won each of her three individual events (100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM) and all four of her relay events (400 & 800 free, 200 & 400 medley) at the Patriot League Championship ... set a new Navy and Patriot League record in both the 200 breast (2:10.67) and 200 IM (1:59.95) at the meet ... went on to place second in the 200 breast and fifth in the 100 free at the ECAC Championship ... won the 100 breast against Army in a new Navy and Patriot League record time of 1:00.72 ... that effort allowed her to garner national swimmer-of-the-week laurels from CollegeSwimming.com ... was selected as the league swimmer of the week five times on the year ... totaled six wins in the 100 breast and eight victories in the 200 breast during the regular season ... also won the 200 IM race six times.

2010-11 -- Won both breaststroke events at both the Patriot League and ECAC Championships, while also placing second in the 200 IM at the Patriot League meet ... was a member of Navy's victorious 200 medley relay team at the Patriot League meet ... set a Navy record in the 400 IM (4:20.80) at the Nike Cup ... posted 15 wins and two second-place finishes in 17 breaststroke races during the regular season ... added six more wins and five second-place showings in 12 additional races ... tabbed as the national swimmer of the week on Dec. 15 and earned six Patriot League Swimmer-of-the-Week nods ... named the 2011 YWCA of Westmoreland County Women's Athlete of the Year.

2010 Summer -- Competed at the U.S. Summer Nationals.

2009-10 -- Won the two breaststroke and 200 IM titles at the Patriot League Championship ... was a member of Navy's victorious and record-setting 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams at the league championship ... won the 200 breast and 200 IM and placed second in the 100 breast at the ECAC Championship ... was a member of Navy's victorious 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams at the league championship ... saw limited action during the first half of the season due to injuries ... placed first or second in six of her eight individual events she swam in prior to the championship portion of the year.

High School -- Graduated from Hempfield Area High School ... helped her club team win the Western Pennsylvania YMCA title in 2009 ... individually, won the 50 breast at the `08 YMCA National Meet and the 200 breast at the `09 meet ... holds the state record in the 200 IM and the 200 medley relay ... was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

Personal -- Astrophysics major ... cousin graduated from Navy in 1998 ... sister swam at Duquesne, while her brother swam at Penn State-Altoona.
