2019-20 - Junior: Root posted a 78.6 average in 10 rounds during the season … Of her four events, she posted a top-five finish at the Bucknell Invitational after notching a 12-over par 222 to place tied for fifth … Root also tied the program record for the lowest round with a 2-under 68 at the Bucknell Invitational
2018-19 - Freshman: Root competed in eight tournaments during her freshman campaign to average 78.8 in 21 rounds of golf … Her lone top-10 finish came at the Lehigh Invitational with a 14-over par 158 to place 10th … She also finished in the top 25 at four different events … Root’s lowest score came at the Kiawah Island Classic with an 11-over par 227 (74-80-73) at the largest collegiate golf tournament of the year … At the Harvard Invitational, she fired a 12-over par 228 (76-75-77) … Root also helped Navy win its first tournament in program history with a 19-over par 163 (86-77) at the Low Country Intercollegiate
