At Navy
2020: Team Captain ... Season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019: Continued rowing with Navy's second varsity eight crew as a junior with six regular season events and later the Eastern Sprints.
2018: Raced with the second varsity eight boat in all six regular season competitions, as well as at the Eastern Sprints.
2017: Member of Navy's fifth varsity crew in the regular season and at Eastern Sprints ... 5V8 boat claimed gold at the Sprints.
Prior to Navy
Four-sport athlete at Paraclete High School: soccer (4 letters-D), cross country (4 letters), track (4 letters-800/1600m), football (1 letter-P/K) … Named 2014 All-CIF Southern Sectional in the 800 meters … Member of four straight Alpha League titles (2013-16) with Paraclete's track & field teams and two straight (2014, 2015) with the cross country team … Team MVP for track and cross country in 2015 and 2016 … Elected as team captain for his track, cross county and soccer teams.

Son of David and Connie … Mother played collegiate soccer at Pacific Lutheran University ... Younger brother Lucas ('23) joined Tyler at the Naval Academy and as a fellow member of the lightweight crew program.
