Biography
As a Junior: Lizzy competed in 6 regattas. She finished 1st at MAISA South Women’s Championships, 2nd at the Washington College Team Race, 3rd at the Navy Quad Fleet Race and Women’s Semifinals. She also competed at Women’s Nationals and earned 7th.
As a Sophomore: Lizzy competed in 4 regattas and was on the podium for 2. She finished 3rd at Navy Quad Fleet race, 1st at MAISA South Women’s Championships and 11th at Womens Nationals.
As a freshman: Lizzy competed in 5 regattas as a crew. Her top finishes were 5th at the Chesapeake Invitational regatta, 5th at the Philly Fleet Race and 1st at Navy Spring Womens.
Prior to Navy: From Duxbury, Massachusetts. Graduated from the Duxbury High School in 2019. Elizabeth grew up sailing around Duxbury Bay and York Harbor. Most of Elizabeth’s experience is in C420 and FJ. Elizabeth also enjoys bareboating with her family. Sailed around Fiji on a catamaran. In high school, Elizabeth participated in varsity swimming and track. Elizabeth has a twin sister, Melissa, who also attends the Naval Academy.
