Biography
As a Junior: Colin competed in 11 regattas, sailing as both a skipper and crew. His notable finishes as a skipper were 2nd at the GW Invite and 5th at the Philly Fleet Race. As a crew, he finished 1st at the Nevins Trophy, GW Team Race, Prosser Trophy, as well as the Nationals semifinals.
As a Sophomore: Colin competed in 3 regattas. He finished 8th at the Navy Spring Fleet Race, 5th at the Navy Spring Team Race and concluded his season with 2nd at the Navy Quad Fleet Race.
As a Freshman: Colin competed in 4 regattas and was on the podium for 2. His top finishes were 5th at the Philly Fleet Race, 2nd at the St. Mary’s Team Race Inter-conference and 2nd at GW Team Race.
Prior to Navy: From Middleton, Rhode Island. Colin graduated from St. George’s School in 2019. Colin grew up sailing in Newport, Rhode Island at the Ida Lewis Yacht Club. He was a member of his high school sailing team competing in C420s and FJ’s. Colin has three siblings: Oscar, Maisie and Will.
