- Valdez finished the year with a team-high .448 on-base percentage
- He also finished second on the team with a .333 average and posted a .387 slugging percentage
- Racked up 31 hits and scored 22 runs for the Midshipmen
- Chipped in with 14 RBIs and drew a team-best 19 walks
- Finished the season with five doubles in 30 starts

2020 (Freshman)
- In his first season at Navy, he finished with three hits and a pair of runs scored
- During nine games and four starts, Valdez recorded a pair of RBIs and recorded a double on Feb. 29 against Massachusetts on Feb. 29
- Posted a .400 on-base percentage with five walks
- In the field, he finished with four putouts and seven assists without recording an error

Prior to Navy
- Played one season at Los Angeles Mission College
- Was named Second Team All-Conference
- In 40 games played, he hit .301 at the plate and drove in 34 runs, while scoring 34 times
- Chipped in with 12 stolen bases as the Eagles went 24-16 overall
