2020-21 Offshore Sailing Roster
Biography
Walden had his first sailing experiences aboard Hobie 14's and Catalina 22's in the San Diego Bay. He taught basic sail trim to kids and adults alike, which got him started in the sport. He joined the Offshore Sailing team earning the role as a main trimmer in his first fall season. He moved on to sail on NA-22 Integrity his 4/C Spring season and raced in the Southern Bay Race Week at Hampton Roads and the Annapolis to Bermuda Ocean Race. He then skippered the Colgate, America in the fall of 3/C year and became the navigator of Wahoo his spring season. While the navigator of Wahoo, they took second in the Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race and took first in the Around Long Island Race.
