At Navy
2024: Saw time in three regular season races, twice with the fourth varsity and once with the sixth crew ... Member of the 5V8 at the Eastern Sprints that placed fourth in its classification.
2023: Suited up in all seven competitions; in the regular season with the first (1 race), second (1), third (2) and fourth varsity eight crews (1) and into the postseason with the third varsity eight at both the Eastern Sprints and IRA National Championship.
2022: Competed in five regular season races, three times with the third varsity eight and twice with the fourth varsity; later raced with the second varsity eight at the Eastern Sprints and IRA National Championship.

Prior to Navy
Attended St. Mary's High School in Annapolis before prepping during the 2020-21 academic year at the Salisbury School ... Two-sport athlete as he rowed at Salisbury after playing football at St. Mary's ... Holds three spots in Salisbury's top-eight all-time erg list.

Son of James and Sharon ... Older brother Jamie was an offensive lineman for Navy 2019-22 and graduated with the Class of 2023 ... Grandfather, Leon “Red” Romo, played football at LSU and later became Navy's head athletic trainer for 41 years, 1956-1997, his memory lives on through an endowed scholarship created by son.
