Biography
At Navy:
• 2016: Started the season with the second varsity eight for four races before moving up to first varsity crew for final four competitions, including Eastern Sprints and IRA Championship
• 2015: Split the majority of his time between the first and second varsity crews (nine of 10 races), including action with the 2V8 in both postseason championship races
• 2014: Competed with the first freshmen crew throughout the season
Prior to Navy:
• Multi-sport athlete with four varsity letters in both cross-country and crew at the Brooks School
• Served as captain of the cross-country team in `12 and `13, and crew in `13
Personal:
• Son of Chip and Holly
• Cousin, James Scully, graduated from USNA in 2010
• High school teammate of Nate Gibeley, USNA '18 heavyweight rower
