Biography
At Navy:
• After racing with the lightweight program for three seasons through 2016, he joined the heavyweights in 2017
• In 2015, competed with the second varsity boat in all five regular season events and Eastern Sprints
• Raced with the first freshmen crew in 2014
Prior to Navy:
• Two-sport letterwinner at the Bolles School as he both ran XC and rowed
• Won gold in the 2012 Novice Lightweight 2K at the Southern Sprints Indoor Rowing Championship
• Earned a bronze at the 2013 FSRA State Championships
• Two-year team captain for Bolles during 2012 and 2013 seasons
Personal:
• Son of Michael and Sharon
• Mother, Sharon competed at Lafayette College in cross country and track and field
• Two Bolles teammates will be rowing collegiately: Matthew Pentaleri '19 USNA and Al Muzaurieta '17 Harvard (HWTs)
• Garnered the 2013 Babe Ruth Award for Athletic and Academic distinction at Bolles
• President and Founder of the Bolles Wakeboarding Club Team
