2018-19 (Jr.) — Paired up with Senen Ubina to win the 2018 U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship in a thrilling five-game match against Navy teammates Jamie Kjorlien and Jack Lentz.
2017-18 (So.) — Playing the #1 (10-3) and #2 (5-8) positions on the ladder, he amassed a 16-12 record ... won 10 of his first 11 matches with his only loss during that span a five-match loss to Western Ontario’s Matthew Henderson ... overcame an 0-2 deficit to earn a 3-2 victory over Frank Goossens and help Navy secure a 6-3 victory over Dickinson ... scored a 3-1 victory over Cornell’s Perry Hanson during the regular season ... posted a 1-1 record at the CSA Individual Championship, defeating Middlebury’s Jack Kagan in five games and dropping a five-game decision to Penn’s Hayes Murphy in the quarters ... opened the year by defeating teammate Jack Lentz in four games to win the Barb Tournament ... Kacergis and brother, Jim, who won the tournament in 2012, are just the second set of brothers to win the tournament, joining Jon (1980) and Spencer (1983, ‘84, ‘85) Wall.
2016-17 (Fr.) — Among Navy’s lineup the entire season, he closed out his rookie campaign with a 21-5 record ... he and classmate Owen Davis were the lone players on the roster to reach 20 wins for the season ... saw action from the #4-#8 spots on the ladder, ending the season at #4 ... scored a 3-0 sweep over Chris Peisch of Stanford to earn his first collegiate victory in what also was his first career appearance for the Mids ... won the first 14 matches of his career, including a 3-1 victory over former Navy player Josh Hughes who transferred to play for the #9 Drexel Dragons ... dropped a 3-2 heartbreaker to Dartmouth’s Jack Harvey for his first loss of his career ... went on to win four straight matches against top-20 teams, including a 3-1 decision over #7 Penn’s Max Reed ... turned in a 1-2 record at the CSA Team Championship to help lead the Mids to a 13th-place finish ... posted a 3-0 win over Bates at the championship, while dropping two five-game matches against Cornell and Western Ontario.
