2016-17 (Jr.) — Put together a 5-0 mark playing in the Mids’ two home tournaments ... picked up a hard-fought 3-2 win over MIT’s Avery Lamp that featured a 13-11 win in gave five ... also picked up wins over foes from Washington, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown and Bucknell.
2015-16 (So.) — Turned in a 4-0 record in varsity compeition, winning all four matches in three games ... scored wins over two Richmond foes, along with victories against Georgetown and Bucknell.
2014-15 (Fr.) — Made his only varsity appearance on Nov. 9 in a 3-0 victory over Minnesota’s Ze-Hong Ong.
High School — A 2014 graduate of Fordham Preparatory School in Bronx, N.Y., Hyer was a standout distance runner ... a member of the National Honor Society ... served as editor in chief of his high school newspaper.
