PERSONAL: Earned 10 varsity letters at William Mason High School; four in each of water polo and ice hockey and two in volleyball … twice named to NISCA Boys All-America teams; Honorable Mention in 2013 and Fifth Team in 2014 … after his senior season in the fall of 2014 was selected as the Ohio State Player of the Year … three-time honoree on the All-Ohio First Team (’12-’14) … two-year team captain … competed at the club level with Moose Water Polo … USA Water Polo Academic All-American … son of Jeff and Diana Gruseck … both siblings Meredith and Jon participated in collegiate water polo at Slippery Rock University and Ohio State, respectively
