Naval Academy Athletics

2019-20 // Junior Year
• Competed in a pair of tournaments at 125 pounds - East Stroudsburg Open, Southern Scuffle - where he amassed a combined 6-2 record
• Put together a 2-1 record to place second at the East Stroudsburg Open
• After dropping his opener to Caleb Smith of Appalachian State at the Southern Scuffle, he won four in a row, including  a pin (1:11) over West Virginia’s Joe Thomas

2018-19 // Sophomore Year
• Competed in three tournaments - Bearcat Open, Southern Scuffle, Edinboro Open - where he posted a combined 11-5 record at 125 pounds
• Turned in a 5-2 mark at the Southern Scuffle to place seventh
• Went 5-1 at the Edinboro Open to finish fifth
• After opening the year 1-3, closed out by winning 10 of his last 12 matches

2017-18 // Freshman Year
• Navy’s starter at 125 pounds after walking on to the team
• Posted an 11-13 overall mark, including a 3-5 record in dual competition
• Earned his first career victory by way of a forfeit in Navy’s dual against Delaware Valley
• His first victory won by result was a 16-1 tech fall over Edinboro’s Mitch Seaver in the freshman/sophomore division of the Eastern Michigan Open
• Pinned VMI’s Clifton Conway to place third at the All-Academy Championship
• Also competed at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, Southern Scuffle and the EIWA Championship

High School
• 2016 graduate of Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga.
• Three-sport standout who earned letters in cross country (2), track & field (2) and wrestling (4)
• Four-time all-county wrestler who earned All-America honors in 2015
• Three-time Georgia state place winner
• Served as captain of the wrestling team for three years

• Attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2016-17 academic year
