• Burg in 2012-13 (Fr.): Produced an 11-7 record in his rookie season which featured gual victories over Rutgers[apos] Scott Winston (9-2) and American[apos]s Mark Cirello (13-1) ... wrestled at three tournaments, placing in a pair ... earned his first collegiate victory at the Eastern Michigan Open where he pinned Cleveland State[apos]s Mike Monson (4:23) ... opened up the Navy Classic with a pair of wins, but would go on to finish sixth ... placed seventh at the Southern Scuffle ... after opening the tournament with an 8-7 loss via a tie breaker, came back to win four in a row ... beat The Citadel[apos]s Matthew Frisch, 7-6, to take seventh.

• High School: A 2011 graduate of Mercersburg Academy, Burg attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2011-12 academic year ... a four-time Prep National All-American who was a three-time prep national finalist ... a two-time Virginia Prep School State Champion ... also won a Pennsylvania Prep School State Championship and was also a runnerup.
