• Clouse in 2010-11 (Jr.): Did not see any varsity action.
• 2009-10 (So.): Made his only appearance of the season at the Navy Classic where he placed fifth at 125 pounds ... opened the tournament with an 11-3 major decision over Virginia Tech[apos]s Schuler Swanton and closed out the event by defeating Bucknell[apos]s Derrik Russell, 9-4.
• 2008-09 (Fr.): Participated in four tournaments and also represented Navy in a pair of duals at 133 pounds ... earned his first-collegiate win at the Central New Jersey Open where he placed fourth ... pinned Eric Langner of Delaware Valley College to earn his first win ... earned a 5-3 decision over Virginia Tech[apos]s Jared Jones to take fifth at the Navy Classic in front of a hometown crowd ... also took part in the West Virginia and Nittany Lion Opens ... lost dual matches against North Carolina and NC State ... finished his rookie season with a 6-9 record.
• High School: A 2007 graduate of Mount St. Joseph High School in Baltimore, Md., Clouse attended Wyoming Seminary Prep School in Kingston, Pa. during the 2007-08 academic year ... a three-year letterwinner in wrestling who led Mount St. Joseph to MIAA team titles in 2006 and `07 ... garnered All-Metro kudos his senior year, while also being voted by his peers to serve as team captain.
• Personal: Son of Paul and Devon Clouse ... grandfather, Ewing McDonald, was a member of USNA[apos]s Class of `49, uncle, Brad McDonald, was a member of USNA[apos]s Class of `77 and cousin, Tyler McDonald, graduated from the Academy in 2005 ... majoring in Oceanography.
