Bryan Costello is in his first year as an Athletic Trainer at Navy. Costello serves as the Athletic Trainer for the Navy wrestling and men's and women's swimming and diving programs.
Prior to his current position, Costello served as an athletic trainer at New York University for two years. He worked primarily with the women's soccer, wrestling and men's volleyball teams.
Costello previously served as full-time Postgraduate Intern Trainer at Navy during the 2015-16 academic year. During his first stint at Navy, Costello served as the primary athletic trainer for the Navy wrestling and men's and women's swimming and diving programs, while also serving as a secondary athletic trainer for the football team.
Prior to his first stint at Navy, Costello worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Tennessee (2013-15). He was primarily responsible for the Volunteers' men's and women's swimming & diving teams, while also serving as a secondary trainer for football.
A 2013 magna cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training/sports medicine, Costello went on to earn a master's degree in recreation and sport management from Tennessee in 2015.
A member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA) and the Eastern Athletic Trainer's Association (EATA), Costello is a native of Levittown, N.Y.
