Justin Kischefsky is in his 19th year at Navy, where he serves as an Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information. He is the primary media contact for the women's basketball, swimming & diving, men's tennis and volleyball programs.
He was selected as the 2008-09 Swimming World Magazine Co-Sports Information Director of the Year and has received Honorable Mention laurels from the publication a total of seven times, with his most recent accolade coming during the 2013-14 academic year.
Before coming to Navy in the fall of 1999, Kischefsky fulfilled the role of Assistant Sports Information Director at Long Beach State for five years from 1993-96 and 1997-99. He had also spent one year (1996-97) with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League as Assistant Media Relations Coordinator.
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., Kischefsky earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from Marquette University in 1991 and attained a Master of Arts degree in communication and leadership studies from Gonzaga University in 2011. He currently resides in Annapolis.
