Matt Ludwig, MS, ATC is in his third year as an Athletic Trainer at Navy. He was elevated to a full-time position after serving as an intern during the 2014-15 season. He serves as the men's lacrosse athletic trainer while assisting with football.
Prior to Navy, Ludwig earned a master's degree in sport management from East Carolina University in 2014. While at ECU, he worked with track & field, cross country, and volleyball. Additionally, he was the recipient of the Ernest Schwarz Memorial Scholarship, and served as a preceptor for students in ECU's undergraduate athletic training program.
The Boonton Township, N.J. native earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Penn State in 2012. His field experiences included football, men's lacrosse, women's volleyball, and softball, and he served as a undergraduate teaching assistant for classes in the Department of Kinesiology.
