Visiting Team and Game Referee Information for Varsity and Junior Varsity Events

Vehicle access to the United States Naval Academy is restricted to those vehicles driven by someone with an appropriate Department of Defense identification card.  Visiting teams and game officials may complete a form to request vehicular access to USNA.

  • A form must be completed for each vehicle for which you are requesting access.
  • The request must be submitted no later than one full week (7 calendar days) prior to the first day of access.  Access may be denied if submitted inside of this one-week time frame.
  • A new form must be submitted for each non-consecutive day event for which you are requesting access, i.e., you must submit a new request for each additional event.
  • Visitors, vehicle, and gear are subject to search.
  • The driver and all passengers must be in possession of a government issued identification card.
  • The forms and procedures on this portal are to be used exclusively for vehicles carrying members of the team including players and coaches.  Administrators and other members of the staff may ride in the official team vehicle(s) carrying players and coaches, or may walk onto the Yard through the pedestrian entrance near Gate 1. Shuttles that transport guests to and from the Yard are available from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on home competition days for the following sports: Basketball, Soccer, Track & Field, Volleyball, and Wrestling. If one of the aforementioned sports is hosting a competition on the same date as a home Navy Football game, the shuttle will pick up and drop off guests from the Navy Health Clinic (695 Kinkaid Rd., Annapolis, MD, 21402).

A valid driver's license, state identification card or U.S. Passport is required for visitors to gain access to the U.S. Naval Academy. This includes visiting teams and officials competing in sporting events being held on The Yard.
