CDR Carl J Tamulevich, USN (Ret.) serves as the Senior Associate Director of Scheduling and Team Support at the Naval Academy. Prior to his present position, he was Deputy Director of Athletics and Head of the Physical Education Department. He was a designated Naval Aviator and Surface Warfare Officer.
While attending the Naval Academy he was a standout athlete, lettering in football and lacrosse. In lacrosse, he was a two-time first-team All America and won the William C. Schmeisser Award as the nations top defenseman and the Theodore C. White Award for "Spirit, Morale and Welfare of the Navy Lacrosse Team." In 1989 he was honored with induction into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
Carl and his wife of 49 years, Lori have two children, CJ and Jeff and seven grandchildren.
