- Played freshman and sophomore years of varsity baseball at Cathedral High school before spending final two years at Bishop Chatard High school
- Earned all-state, all-conference and all-city selections as a senior for Chatard
- Ranked by Perfect Game as the No. 1 shortstop and No. 10 overall prospect in the Indiana Class of 2024
- Also played football at Cathedral
- Teammates at Bishop Chatard with Wabash College two-sport athlete Ryan Keating
- Helped his summer ball team, the Indiana Bulls Black, reach the bronze-medal game of the 2023 17U National Team Championships
