Naval Academy Athletics

Chase joined the Navy baseball program as a volunteer assistant coach in the fall of 2014. Prior to Navy, Chase served on Andrew Checketts’ staff at UC Santa Barbara as a video coordinator during the 2013-14 year. 

During the summer, Chase was a two-year member of the Seacoast Mavericks’ coaching staff beginning in 2013 when he was named an assistant coach. Following that season, he was promoted to the position of head coach. He became the youngest manager in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League at just 24 years old.

As a student-athlete, Chase was a four-year member of the Notre Dame baseball program. He capped his career by being elected as the team’s co-captain his senior year in 2012. For his work on and off the field he was named one of five finalists for the 2012 Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup. 

A native of Cohasset, Mass., he graduated from Boston College High School in 2008.
