Naval Academy Athletics

High School
• Played four years of high school baseball with the Charlotte Stampede program under the direction of David Darwin
• Honeycutt and the Stampede won the 2014 Homeschool World Series Association (HWSA) Division 3 title and finished third in the HWSA Division I competition in 2015
• Named a member of the 2015 Perfect Game Atlantic Region Honorable Mention team
• Twice played in the North Carolina/South Carolina Battle of the Border Game (2013, 2015)
• Wrestled for two years during his high school years 
• Augmented his high school experience by playing with the SBA Canes

Personal
• Son of Michael and Martha
• Mother played collegiate golf at the University of Michigan, while his sister Sarah skied with the club team at Appalachian State University
• Prepped during the 2015-16 school year at NAPS
• Enjoys fishing, hunting and playing wiffle ball in his free time
