- After a non-descript freshman season as a backup corner infielder, he transitioned to the mound as a sidearm reliever with outstanding results
- Named to watch list for National Pitcher of the Year in late April; one of 46 candidates
- One of 10 NCAA Division I relievers with seven or more wins and less than 50.0 innings pitched; one of three with 100.0% winning percentage
- Posted the lowest ERA in the Patriot League amongst relief pitchers with more than 20 innings pitched
- Ranked in the top-10 for Patriot League hurlers in four different categories: first in games finished (17), second in total appearances (24), second in victories (7) though tops amongst relievers and tied for third in saves (4)
- After allowing two runs (one earned) over his first two outings only was touched up for a run once, versus Delaware State (3/4), over the next 10 times called on in relief during the span of Feb. 25 to March 28; helped drop his ERA to a season-low 0.73 as a result
- Between March 11 and May 3, ERA was never higher than 1.20 (April 5)
- Totaled 43 strikeouts over 45.1 innings pitched, including three or more in eight different contests with a high of four coming on four separate occasions

- Made collegiate debut as a pinch hitter versus Washington College (3/10) and first start versus UMBC (3/12)
- Recorded first career hit against UMES (4/8) and first RBI at Delaware State (4/23)
- Finished first season with 2 hits in 16 at bats
- Drew four walks to help give him a .300 on-base percentage
- Fielded all 7 chances as a relief 3B cleanly

- Named to Rawlings All-Region team in 2013: Texas Region Honorable Mention
- Honored on the First Team All-District squad for 5-5A as a senior in 2013
